If you have a long history, it may be difficult to manually update all posts. Thankfully, the WordPress plugin promises to support Facebook and instagram. The oembed plus plug-in claims to implement the new API and retain the old-fashioned inclusion. To use the plug-in, you must log in to the developer’s Facebook console and generate an application ID and Application password. Then, install and activate oembed plus through the WordPress dashboard. You can then select Settings > write. The section where you can enter the Facebook application ID and Application password must be displayed. After entering this information, click save changes. In this way, all existing Facebook and instagram must be protected by upcoming API changes. Conclusion oembed API changes may interfere with instagram and Facebook content, but do not bring disaster to the website.
