Woo 2016 review

Hello, hello, g \u0026#39; day et al. It is Todd Wilkens, the new supervisor of Woocommerce. After Woo spent a stunning year, I want to spend some time to share some ideas and facts about our team and this great community. You are the key part of them. In fact, before that, let me say thank you first:

to the existence of every user, customer and open source community contributor: WooCommerce for you, because of you. It is because of you that there is the most commonly used e -commerce platform for WordPress. Therefore, the most widely used e -commerce platform in the world can exist. Thanks!

The end of the year is approaching, and it is time to reflect. Continue to read the ideas about the past year, which are valid, which are invalid, and what we feel excited about 2017.

In the WOO team in Berlin in July, we spent a good time.

What is the WOOCOMMERCE, not what

to start, develop, and maintain their online business with millions of people who benefit from the powerful functions and flexibility of Woocommerce. Because of our open source, we can already do this together, and will always be more powerful.

Honestly, in the past year, our own growth and diversified customer group made us a little unknown Action. It brings challenges, trying to please everyone in terms of product, marketing and support. We may also spend too much time and attention on competitors, which disperse our core attention to users and Woocommerce. Woocommerce has never been a platform. You can make a very simple website with a little store function. Our focus has always been

to hand over power, flexibility and selection

to any right online online People with ideas.

We fully believe that the ecosystem of WordPress and the amazing person to build it is the best choice for entrepreneurs. It continues to provide an open source platform to make your ideas a reality. In addition, all extensions, themes and services that make WooCommerce active (paid andadvanced).
