123] 2016 is the most successful year for us to grow up in customer group growth and Woocommerce as the development of the platform. Some important milestones this year:
Wooocommerce Core has two versions: 2.5 \”dashing dolphin\” and 2.6 \”zipping zebra\” (plus 2.7 beta, just shipped!)
The core improvement of our owners includes new tax rate UI, transportation area, label -type \”My Account\” screen, AJAX -based shopping cart experience, and a lot of performance optimization.
For our developers, we introduced Woocommerce CLI, a new session database table, and migrated the Woocommerce API (WC-API) to support the WP-API infrastructure.
We launched Storefront 2.0 and StoreFront PowerPack for all StoreFront users to help their stores more beautiful.
We launched the Product Bundles 5.0, including improved pricing and transportation flexibility and inventory reports.
We launched SubScriptions 2.1, which improved in reporting, payment recovery/retry, and new email subscriptions.
We launched an integration with Square Pos this year, as well as several other extensions (such as Dropshipping).
Automatic renewal enables to keep woocommerce.com’s subscription activities easier (for support and update)
The WOO team now has 90 people, half of which are engaged in user support.
