To view the network settings screen, go to network administrator > settings from the administrator screen. The second part of this screen is the registration settings. By default, user and site registration is turned off. It must be changed. Choose the option that best suits your site. Options can: Registration disabled: only network or site administrators can create new users. Only a network administrator can create a new site (that is, the user has turned off site registration). User accounts can be registered: people can create user accounts on the network, but they cannot create new sites (similar to registering users on separate sites). The logged in user can register a new site. Only people with a logged in account can create sites. Use this option if people do not want to create their own user accounts and sites, but rather want to restrict site creation to the set users. This is useful for closed systems, such as community groups or enterprise site networks. Sites and user accounts can be registered: people can create sites and user accounts at the same time
(you can also create a site using an existing user account). This part of the course allows people to create their own user accounts and sites, so you can register for the fourth option: sites and user accounts. The
When you are finished, review the following settings: Register for notification: select this option if you want to be notified whenever someone sets up a new site or user account. For new networks, it is recommended that you do this because it helps you find junk e-mail or junk e-mail (people who create junk e-mail blogs). As the network grows, it may be inconvenient to always receive e-mail. In this case, you must use a backflow plug-in. In part 6 of this course, we will learn more about network management. Add new user: you must select this option if your network is a public network or you want site administrators to be free to add their own users. However, to better control the creation of user accounts, leave them unchecked. It is recommended that you confirm this because my site administrator is creating new users for the site. Forbidden names: WordPress will add forbidden blog names by default, but you can add your own name. This is the same as the slug for each new site. To add more, leave a space between each item and enter it here. You can include your own brand name and a log of pages that have been created on the site. Limited e-mail registration: if the network is an organizational user and everyone uses the same domain for e-mail, you can use it to block site settings without related e-mail addresses@ Enter the domain name, but do not enter it. For example, the domain name is Microsoft. If it is com, this is Microsoft. If you enter com, site registration is limited to people with an email address of [email protected]. Prohibited e-mail domains: use it to list e-mail domains that you do not want to register. In other words, Microsoft is here. After adding com, people with [email protected] format email addresses will not be able to create websites or user accounts. This may be useful if you find many spam subscriptions in a domain name. Let’s start with customization. Navigate to welcome email customize network administrator > settings and scroll down to the new site settings section. Male edit and start the email sent to the person who successfully activated the new website. Edit existing content in the welcome email field. Capital letters have several short codes, and it is recommended to keep them. Username: user name of the new site owner site_name: title of the network (not a new site) blog_url: URL of the new site (including backslash) password: password of the new user loginlink: link of the user to the network or the site added by the site administrator. Here are some new texts that I think are more relevant to my site. Secondly, we will modify the email sent to new users of unregistered websites. It contains similar text, but no site administration content. In the welcome user email field, do the following: After modifying the email, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen to save the changes. By default, the custom default content WordPress populates each new site in the network with a single post, page, and comment in the same way as a stand-alone installation. You can change their content. Personally, I don’t think the content will help much, so I want to do so. To do this, navigate to network administrator > settings, scroll to the new site settings section, and then skip to the field after the two e-mail fields you just used. In this field, you can use HTML to add bullets, links, images, and so on. Be creative! Edit the default post on the network to provide additional instructions on how posts, pages, and comments work. Now, if someone creates a new website on my network, they will start posts, pages and comments with the content I added. The registration page can be customized as a plug-in if you do not like to customize the subscription page. Here are some options: If a registration plug-in (such as customize admin) has a part area or topic (such as a sidebar or footer) on the site, add the registration part to the part area of the default content. Use free forms plug-ins (such as your own formator) to help create registration \/ registration forms that support the registration process. You can also use PayPal addon to enable payment as part of the booking process and add a customizable login form. Using membership plug-ins such as wpultimo, you can customize the option sales website. WordPress multisite loves users and allows users to create sites in WordPress multisite as easily as activating them in network settings.
